SERIES WORK > INSIDE THE MUSEUM

Museum dioramas provide the original virtual reality tour of evolutionary histories, natural habitats, extinct, endangered and thriving species as well as organic matter to stimulate human interest and curiosity. Although there has been a dramatic shift to virtual learning, it is evident that institutions such as museums continue to be vitally important to our deeper understanding of evolutionary shifts in technology, economy, social-psychology and culture.

A visit to the Royal Ontario Museum provided the subjects for this new series to serve as a reminder of the ongoing threat to wildlife populations, destruction of ecosystems and at-risk habitats due to human activity.
